Lived here for about four years and honestly I was just like most people who moved here. I was blown away by the low rate, which is not so low now and now they want you to pay for hydro so it’s already not worth it. Anyways, I asked about the bed bugs and roaches and they said they spray for it regularly which is a red flag. But I was desperate and sure enough I saw roaches and that was annoying but when I saw the bed bugs ew. They just came out of nowhere. Probably the carpets in the hallway
or the laundry room which is disgusting. Avoid avoid avoid. And the spraying doesn’t even do anything really, they just keep coming back lol but either way just don’t bother with this place. When they say all places have bed bugs and roaches it saids a lot about how they care for their property. Run.

I've lived in this apartment for 2 years, got bed bugs like 3 times. So many units have them, and they spread quickly. Management is slow to deal with the issue when its a problem. When it wasn't a problem, they seemed to be very stern about doing treatments, threatening to evict us etc. The treatments are often scheduled for one day, but then the exterminators don't come that day and show up on another day entirely. Then they threaten to evict you when you're unprepared because of their mistake

Also, bed bugs are in common areas like the elevators and laundry room. I've lost count of how many times I've seen them there.

Finding cockroaches in my apartment, my place is decently clean no real messes or food particles every, cleaned and sterilized floors, counters, etc. I live high up in the building too, gusse its time to move.

i was given a notice that the neighbouring unit had bed bugs and they would be treating the unit and providing a preventative treatment to my unit.
They put some dust in a few corners and 2 weeks later I was getting bites
It took a month of pressuring management to treat my unit before they took action and provided pest control
I have only gotten one treatment so far

Bedbugs were recently spotted in our apartment here in mid-July.
Building manager sent a notice to the units last week saying that an exterminator would be coming. They never came...
Luckily our problem wasn't that severe and we had already dealt with it ourselves as soon as we saw a bug because we know how much of a hassle it is to get the management to do anything around here.
After inspecting and cleaning everything and dusting silicon dioxide everywhere we haven't been bitten at nig
ht or seen anymore of them. Would be nice if they kept their promise of sending the exterminator in though... we had to move all of our things away from the wall, including heavy furniture, to prepare for them.
