We arrived at rapid river lodge at Baxter on Aug 11th night and left on Wednesday 13th around noon. Since we arrived late on Thursday night, we didn’t ask to change bed when we smell some tide smell. The hotel has a water park and it is just in front of the room, so we thought it just come from the water park. After the 1 night, we found there is many bug bites shaped like Z on my daughter’s arm, and second day we see more bites on neck and face. The 12th was raining whole day, so my daughte

r didn’t go anywhere, and stayed in the hotel whole day. There is no other place she will get those bites from. We went to the local hospital and get Dr. Confirmation that those were bedbug bites. We talked to hotel recipient, and we were told they had to follow protocols, and of course general manager is not available, and they refuse to call the owner because it is not an “urgent issue”. The front desk didn’t provide any solution to us for our situation. There is no empathy, the lady only trying to get us away. Horrible hotel experience, and the front desk just try to cover things up instead of working with customer.
