My husband and I stayed there on Aug 13, 2022. Husband woke up with 20+ bites on his abdomen.

I put a guest at Hilton JFK last weekend, he caught bedbugs there. When the incident was reported to the concierge, I was told that a manager will contact me in 2 to 3 days. It’s now day 5; no one contacted me yet. Anyhow, I wished I read the previous bedbugs complaints before I had anyone stay there.

I just stayed with the hotel for work this May 14th to the 17th. On the second night I woke to find my sheets spotted with what looked like blood. I have to admit I was not prepared and pretty ignorant as I did not know this was a sure tell sign of bedbugs. I simply wrote it off to the night sweats I usually incur when traveling and sleeping in poly-blend sheets. The next days I did find myself scratching wildly at lower limbs, however I was also working on a construction site with my ankles exp

osed to metals, dust and so on so I thought I was just having an allergy issue. By day four I had moved to another hotel because the Hilton was full and I was still needed to stay in NY for work. Also by day four I was covered in skin coloured bumps that were beginning to get itchy but the amount of pressure I was under for work did not let me even think about it until 19th at which time it had become unbearable and when I finally gave in to Google the signs and symptoms of BedBugs, I was horrified to read the words 'look out for brown or red spots on your sheets'. I felt duped.
The cleaning ladies changed my sheets that night and replaced them with freshly unstained ones. You're telling me that a cleaning service in a Jamaica, Queens hotel is not in the know about these kind of signs? Bullshit.
The manager said that I never said anything before I left and now they "have someone else in the room with no complaints so..."
I didn't even get an apology from the manager, she just took my contact info for her insurance purposes, not to compensate me in anyway, noooo.

4/6/13 arrival and left 4/7. Called on 4/8 after finding bites on myself and my husband and they said "they have never had bugs in this room or any complaints." I have found another report from Feb on here. I asked how we would be compensated and she told me they don't do that because it is "touchy". They can't prove how they got there, was her claim, so they will not comensate us. She told me she would have the room inspected and email me to let me know the results. I asked what they would

do if the bugs are now found in my house and she said, "Nothing."

I stayed in the Room 230 at this hotel in the night of February 21, 2012. I woke up around 5am to find out that my both arms were itchy and looked bitten by a bug. I went back to sleep and found again in the morning that I had several other places of my arms and fingers being bitten. Then I found a small, almost baby bed bug crawling on my bed and killed it. I reported to the hotel receptionist although they offered me a free breakfast, I didn't have time to accept it and they told me they w

ould send someone to check the room immediately. My friend who stayed with me didn't get bites. Obviously they didn't have mattresses and box springs covered in the bug protection sheets....
